A meal planner that checks your vitamins and minerals.

MorselMetrics is made in Australia. It plans your meals, checks them against each person’s recommended daily intake, shows you what’s missing and writes the shopping list.

What it does.

  1. Plans your week

Plan your week by choosing your own meals. Free autofill suggests a single day; Pro adds whole-week autofill around your saved preferences.

  2. Checks every meal

Each day is checked against the recommended daily intake for 25 vitamins and minerals, plus protein, carbs and fat, for each person at the table.

    How the checking works
  3. Shows what’s missing

See which vitamins and minerals are short, which ingredients they came from, and search for any food to add.

    Finding what’s missing
  4. Writes the shopping list

Everything the week needs in one list, grouped by type of food, ready to print or take on your phone.

    The shopping list

For everyday cooking, with the detail when you want it.

Most people use it to see whether the week’s meals cover what everyone at the table needs, and to stop guessing at the shops.

Each person gets their own daily intake for their age, sex and life stage, including pregnancy, and their own portion of shared dishes. Vegetarian, vegan and ingredients you won’t eat are all handled when we fill the week.

If you need to dig deeper, every number shows where it came from, and the How it works page covers health conditions, data gaps and upper limits.

Australian food data, checked against Australian targets.

Food values come from the Australian Food Composition Database, published by Food Standards Australia New Zealand. Daily intakes come from the NHMRC’s Nutrient Reference Values.

When a food has no value for something, we show that it’s missing instead of counting it as zero. It’s information, not medical advice.
